The Alfa Romeo 2600 Touring Spider. What a special car for Alfa Romeo. This car is not only the successor of the Alfa Romeo 2000 but is the last Alfa to be equipped with an inline six-cylinder engine. This car ended the 45-year tradition of Alfa Romeo with this engine configuration.

Three versions of the 2600 were launched the Berlina, The Sprint, and the Spider. The Spider had a total production of 2255 cars. Even though the car had a beautiful line of production, they did not reach the sales expected from Alfa due to its high value, so they focused on more affordable mid-size cars.

The car features a 2.6L engine, with a displacement of 2,584 cc and three double Webber carburetors. This engine produces 145HP and 5900rpm. It is a rear wheel drive with a top speed of 200kmh. from 0-60 in 10 seconds.

In 2014 along with my grandfather, we found this amazing car in Chile. The car has not been used for more than 25 years, so a lot of work has to be done, but we were already in love with it, and once we fell in love nothing could stop us.

We worked together for three years before my grandfather died. I´m still trying to finish this project, but now I´m on my own. I had to learn where to look for replacement parts, dedicating a lot of time and resources. Mainly because I wanted to restore the car as true to the original as possible.
